Back at it again with the band tee (how many blog posts have you seen with that joke in it? Damn Daniel). This time it's all about this vintage Mötley Crüe shirt that was made to be worn with ripped skinny jeans and black boots. Sourced from a charity shop it has the perfect 'vintage' feel along with that weird second hand smell you get whenever you enter a thrift store which is kind of comforting but also a little gross. Even though I may smell like an old lady even after a go over in the washing machine I still love the shirt.

Top - Vintage, jeans - Topshop, blazer - Newlook (similar), boots - Newlook (similar), sunglasses - Matalan, scarf - Topshop (similar)

Teamed with a star print skinny scarf from Topshop and a blazer gives it a smart look that makes me look classy, that is until you see I'm wearing a shirt with a American rock band on which gives it a rock'n'roll twist, just my thing.

I've been living in my Jamie jeans since the day I got them and realised they are the only jeans I now need in my life. I haven't even looked at another pair of jeans since then. Their the perfect pant to sit above your waist to hide any unwanted fat and I also find they sculpt your body perfectly, they might even suck you in a little. If you have never tried a pair then let me pressure you into buying a pair right this minute, do it! Jeans are a nightmare to buy but these have been my savour and I practically live in them, I don't even change into my sweat when I get home sometimes due to how comfortable they are and that's saying something!

EAGLE BOMBER | 17.8.15

My mind is blown at the fact it's taken me this long to wear this bomber, this totally amazing bomber. I bought it more than a month ago and kind of forgot about it until now, I am aware of how bad that is and I have given myself a well deserved slap on the wrist for it. You may have seen it in a haul video I did two months ago but since then it hasn't been worn despite how awesome I think it is. But having said that, today was in fact the day this beauty came out to play!
Top - Forever 21, jacket - H&M, shorts - Forever 21, boots - River Island, sunglasses - Matalan.

I thought it would look cool with some boho pieces like these tapestry shorts from Forever 21 as the jacket itself is quite native. I wanted to take that further and add some pattern and these shorts were a match made in heaven, the colours go perfect together and make a change from a pair of denim cut-offs. I'm so obsessed with Forever 21 and their selection of shorts that I've worked up quite the collection, these being my favorite so far so I just had to get some more wear out of them before the sun went down for another year!

I feel I haven't worn much pattern in a while so I went all out with a clash of leopard print for my booties, booties that I can't actually walk in without highly embarrassing myself and towering over any person that walks past... They do make my pins looks extra elongated and thin for once though which I am happy about. As much as I think these boots are killer (in more sense than one) I've got to be honest as I have only worn these once to a club and hated every moment of it - not just because I was in a club but because they made me stick out like a sore thumb in a small room full of drunken teenagers half my height. With that being said I am thinking of passing these on to someone with more heel experience so you may just see them pop up over on my eBay along with lot's of other bits and bobs so make sure you head there for some of my pre-loved goods!

2ND JULY 2015

Shirt - Primark, jeans - Primark, jacket - Primark, shoes - Vans Classics, sunglasses - Matalan, bandana - Claires Accessories.

I've taken a leaf out of the YSL book of incredible fashion and channeled some serious boyish vibes. If you saw last weeks post featuring the Yves Saint Laurent S/S 2016 collection that I was in a constant drool over then you'd see where the inspiration came from. To be honest though, my style is already so inspired by menswear and masculine cuts that I mostly just threw together what I already owned and made one head-to-toe tom-boy outfit that I felt right at home in. 80% of the time I am a bit of a tom-boy, the other day I went to the shop with the baggiest pair of pants on, slip on vans and a t-shirt made for a XXL male, but it felt great and I loved every minute of it. I do feel like i'm wearing more of the boy's clothes than he is and I'm not even sorry about it!

This OOTD is very menswear inspired and I just so happen to actually be wearing menswear as this shirt was too funky not to join my ever growing collection, no shock there. The YSL collection is full of quirky patterned shirts which are quite obviously one of my favourite things as well as lots of leather and denim, I know it was like it was made for me. If you haven't checked it out yet do, seriously, I'm still scrolling through the photos now!

Before I leave you to your joyous Monday night I feel I should address my new 'strawberry blonde' locks, they're a work in progress and were supposed to turn out 'Bronde'. Totally awkward home dying situation where I'm inexperienced, cack-handed and just generally have no idea what I'm doing. I'm embracing it though and using quite a lot of silver shampoo to help me through this difficult time. Hopefully it'll look a little less brassy soon, pray for me.

11TH MAY 2015
Bralette - Topshop, shirt - thrifted, jacket - Primark, jeans - M&S, shoes - Van's Authentic, sunglasses - Matalan, watch - Topshop, jewelry - Topshop and Bloody Mary Metal.

This is a serious winner of an outfit choice for me and that could be the case for you too as the white shirt - leather jacket combo is a complete classic, is it not? I've always said that everyone needs a white shirt in their closet, weither it's formal and impeccably crisp or off-white and linen which tends to crease with every movement even though you did iron it numerous times that morning... I don't think I can get any more infuriated at my awful ironing skills iron any longer, it was a very long morning. This shirt was found for less than £3 in one of the local charity stores I used to visit back in Devon, it always had so many treasures in such as this Hard Rock Cafe shirt from an outfit post I shot a few months back, now you can't tell me that's not a retro treasure?!

On to another classic, my Van's checkered slip-on's. I'm not sure if I've mentioned these shoes before but they're pretty old, maybe even older than my trusty DM's that I wished a happy birthday to last week. But these are the shoes I bought when I was going through my 'emo' (barf) phase which was slowly becoming influenced by the boys of Fall Out Boy and Blink 182, I did end up naming these my 'Mark Hoppus' shoes after all. Even though I'm no longer living my 'emo' ways (thank god) I still love to wear my slip-ons on the regular and I'm actually thinking about buying a new pair in a different colour, these orange ones are calling my name! Speaking of new Van's though, have you seen the Disney range that's just been released?! Totally not my cup of tea but you've got to hand it to them as they're constantly making amazingly patterned shoes and even though the Disney thing isn't for me, the Star Wars and The Beatles ones definitely were.

Now I don't need to tell you how a leather jacket is the ultimate coat of choice and you need one just like you do a white shirt, because I think that's fairly obvious and if you don't have one *gasps* then we can't be friends go and buy yourself this amazingly perfect and cheap one over on Missguided or this even cheaper one on Newlook, OK?

13TH APRIL 2015
Top - Primark (mens), jeans - Riverisland, trainers - Nike, bag - Topshop, sunglasses - Matalan, watch - Topshop.

Let's take a trip back to the 90's where MTV was at it's finest and programs such a Teen Mom and 16 and Pregnant weren't even a thought. Given, Beavis & Butthead was already a thing when I was old enough to watch it but when I did feast my eyes on it's brilliance it became one of my most memorable 'cartoons' to date. Two rock obsessed dumbasses sat on their couch judging music videos and life for ten minutes is totally fine by me, as I'm a sucker for sticking on the top 40 music channel and scaring my eyes with some of the worst videos I have ever seen. Their are a few that are brilliant, but most of the time it's half naked women twerking to dance tunes, not something I want to be watching or even hearing.

I've got to give it to Primark, their selection of graphic tee's which send me into a distant memory of my teenage years is really quite something. Although their Hogwarts t-shirts are a little over done as I feel like I've been seeing them everywhere I go. But some of them are pretty cool, this one included. My t-shirt collection is full to the brim of film, music and tv designs such as the 80's/90's Game Of Thrones graphics by the amazingly talented Mike Wrobel, a five year old Sonic Youth shirt which I bought in the biggest size they had and then cut the arms out, so it now shows a ridiculous amount of side boob and of course, a Django shirt with Jamie Foxx' face on. I'm never stuck for a shirt to wear.

More 90's goodness is the faded out denim 'boyfriend' jeans, which are the most un-flattering, bum flattening pant ever made. But if you look behind the fact your bum looses all of it's shape, they're the comfiest jean ever and look so great in the summer.
